You guys were very good about working with me on determining what the problems were with my vehicle and I was able to rectify them and it passed smog the second time through. The reason I gave only 3 stars is because your rates are NOT competitive. I know that vans charge more for smog inspection, but I know that reason is for conventional-type vans where the center console (and often the passenger seat) need to be removed. On a vanagon there is no more work to get to the engine than any regular passenger car (which is $20 less for the smog). Also, the retest cost 50% of the cost of the smog. Most other smog stations in san luis offer a free retest. Overall I am still pleased with my visit because the vehicle was smogged and retested on very short notice, and when some things had to be fixed you addressed them to me understanding of my knowledge of vehicles.
